The value for money at this hidden gem was very nice! The room was comfortable and the staff treated me like family. The location was perfect, close to everything I wanted to see and do.
The menu for breakfast could use some improvement, maybe adding more variety or options.

I really enjoyed the hospitality. We were greeted outside when we arrived and invited to sit and have tea. Mumad was just a joy. He was very personable and provided whatever information we may have needed. The rooms were clean and we had a great view of the street. I would definitely stay here again. I just really appreciated the down home feel in another country so far from home. :-) It was also situated in a great neighborhood. Tons of shopping and close to tourist sites and transportation.

During our recent stay at Lamp, we were delighted to find a charming hotel with a prime location. Just a short walk away, we discovered the fine Blue Mosque and Ayasofya. Our room at Lamp was not only clean but also perfectly suited to our needs for our four-night stay. The receptionist was helpful and made us feel welcome. The hotel's friendly and really good team, including the restaurant staff, created a contagious and positive vibe. We would definitely choose to stay at Lamp again on our next visit to Istanbul.

The owner, Mehmet, is an extremely helpful and hospitable man. His English is good and he's always willing to make suggestions and answer questions. The breakfast is buffet-style and authentically Turkish. We really enjoyed our stay!
The triple room is a little small for three people, but the view of the Blue Mosque made up for it.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is situated next to the famous SultanAhmet mosque and within walking distance of all the major attractions in this city. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and relaxed. The hotel facilities are great, including a wonderful breakfast spread every morning.
Can't fault anything about it.
